Ranatunga Motors (Pvt) Ltd, is the leading motorcycle importer,
Distributor & dealer in Sri Lanka at present. It is currently
the strongest incorporation of the Ranomoto Group of Companies.
RMPL initiated the business in the early 80s & gained a huge
success in importing Reconditioned Motorcycles & Two Wheel Tractors
from Japan in short time frame. On its success, RMPL incorporated
as a limited liability private company in October 1985. |

Apart from importing from Japan RMPL ventured into importing Band
new Motorcycles assembled in china with Japanese technology under
the name RANOMOTO. This is a turning of new chapter in Sri Lankan
brand-new motorcycle trade due to the fact of first ever motorcycle
running on the Sri Lankan roads proudly holding the trade name of
truly Sri Lankan company.
